Who Am I?

Welcome! I’m Arati (Ar-th-ee), a registered dietitian (RD) and founder of Global Plate Nutrition (GPN). I created this practice to offer nutrition care that reflects the world we actually live in: diverse, multicultural, and deeply influenced by our mental and emotional wellbeing. Inspired by my experiences, my mission is to help you feel nourished, confident, and supported in your everyday life.

As a dietitian specializing in psychiatric nutrition and culinary nutrition, I support adults with eating disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and anyone seeking a healthier, more sustainable relationship with food. My philosophy blends evidence-based science, cultural awareness, and non-diet care, helping you nourish yourself confidently using foods that feel familiar, comforting, and meaningful to you.

My own experiences exploring global cuisines have shown me how food connects us across cultures, shapes traditions, and influences wellbeing.

This practice is the culmination of my curiosity about nutrition science and fascination with food anthropology, bringing together the knowledge, experience, and passion that guide my work every day.
