If you do not have insurance or choose not to use insurance, you have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including nutrition counseling services.

Your Good Faith Estimate will outline the expected charges for scheduled services and is based on the information known at the time the estimate is created. Actual services or fees may vary if your needs change.

If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the bill through the federal Patient–Provider Dispute Resolution (PPDR) process.
